AT&T to deliver best-in-class fiber internet to thousands of local residents and businesses in Okaloosa County, Crestview and Fort Walton Beach over Gigapower’s multi-gig network in the coming months.

CRESTVIEW, Fla.: Gigapower:

What’s the news? At a time when broadband connectivity has never been more in demand or more critical to our daily lives, Gigapower is expanding its state-of-the-art fiber network to Okaloosa County, Crestview and Fort Walton Beach.

Gigapower’s commercial wholesale, open access platform enables internet service providers and other businesses to access its multi-gig fiber network in select metro areas throughout the country.

This is made possible through the Gigapower joint venture between AT&T and BlackRock, through a fund managed by its Diversified Infrastructure business.

Why is this important?

Okaloosa County, Crestview and Fort Walton Beach are homes to thriving communities - strong independent and corporate businesses, expanding educational institutions and growing opportunities.

“We are excited about the technology fiber/broadband investments being made in our community and applaud any efforts that bring high-speed Internet to the residents of Okaloosa County,” said Okaloosa County Board Chair Paul Mixon.

As residents and business owners need more and faster broadband, AT&T Fiber can provide the connectivity needed to power where Okaloosa County, Crestview and Fort Walton Beach works, studies and plays.

Why AT&T Fiber?

With fast speeds and no data overage charges, AT&T Fiber can connect dozens of devices to the network at one time, without compromising performance, reliability, or speed. Plus, AT&T Fiber offers straightforward, simple pricing. That means unlimited data, no annual contracts, no price increase at 12 months and no equipment fees.
