HOUSTON: As industrial cybersecurity professional services provider Armexa enters its third year of business, the company announces the appointment of Van Wilson as its new chief operating officer.

“We’re excited to bring Van’s blend of strategic foresight and operational excellence to Armexa. The growth we’ve experienced in such a short time is a testament to our small but highly experienced team’s capabilities in OT cybersecurity, and we’re confident Van will take our business operations and systems to the next level as we continue to expand,” said Jacob Marzloff, Armexa co-founder and CEO.

Wilson brings more than 30 years of experience in business operations and leadership, particularly in the professional services sector. He comes to Armexa from Audubon Companies, where he led shared services and back-office operations encompassing HSE, IT, HR, Marketing and Procurement, as partner and executive vice president.

His tenure includes significant achievements, such as leading the integration of a 220-person team at a Big 4 consulting firm to form a new North American Automation Practice, and driving the operational success of companies like Audubon Companies, ENGlobal and Cimation. His expertise in strategic recruiting, executive team building, and P&L management are invaluable assets for Armexa's growth trajectory.

“My career really started in OT and ICS, so to join a company with an OT cybersecurity focus at this point in my career is exciting and truly brings it full circle,” Wilson said. “My credentials and credibility may come from the operations side, but I’ve always had a deep appreciation and affinity for what happens in the field. I’m honored with this opportunity to help Armexa continue to build and grow.”

Wilson’s commitment to developing internal systems, processes and policies will enhance Armexa’s ability to provide unparalleled support to its clients.

“Our top priority has always been delivering outstanding support to our clients through custom OT solutions, guidance and hands-on implementation,” Marzloff said. “Van’s leadership and expertise are key to refining our strategic visions and operations, ultimately benefiting the industries we serve.”
