Makes setting up high-speed fiber internet more convenient
DALLAS: Frontier (NASDAQ: FYBR):
What’s happening: Today, Frontier introduced a self-installation option that allows customers to set up high-speed fiber internet at their convenience.
Why we’re doing it: People have busy schedules and want service options that save time and provide flexibility. Self-installation is the latest of our self-service options, which also include our mobile app and conversational-AI chatbot.
Another reason we’re doing it: Our self-installation option makes setting up fiber internet quick and easy. With our customers handling installation, it frees us up to expand access to our fiber internet to more homes and businesses.
What customers should know: Customers who choose self-installation will get a kit including a simple step-by-step guide, in-app speed test and 24/7 live chat support back-up. Customers can find out about eligibility here.
Handy quote: “We get it—people are busy. That’s why we are giving our customers the choice to skip a technician appointment and install our high-speed fiber internet when it works best for their schedule,” said John Harrobin, Executive Vice President of Consumer. “Self-installation offers convenience for our customers and increased efficiency to our business as we connect more people across the country to our fiber internet.”
