MONTRÉAL, Québec: Vívaro, a global leader in live broadcast video transport and production solutions, proudly announces its participation in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris for international broadcasters in 18 countries. This event marks Vívaro's fifth consecutive Summer Olympics, where it has delivered state-of-the-art broadcast solutions. Vívaro Media, the company's video transport division, is set to facilitate extensive live video transmissions through its dedicated fiber network, and Vívaro Video, the production arm of Vívaro, will provide production resources and local support. Together, these divisions will support top broadcasters in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and the host country, France, for an extensive coverage to over 660 million viewers.

Comprehensive Solutions for Global Coverage

Vívaro will provide critical connectivity and transport solutions, which extend from the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) and studios located in Paris and back to production facilities in their respective countries, providing end-to-end support that includes on-site engineering staff. The company will also provide mobile production resources complemented with on-site technical support.

Vívaro Media will encode and transport over 170 live video feeds in multiple high-definition formats, will provide remote selection of feeds from the IP-VandA Package, and will optimize equipment and bandwidth required for broadcasters’ remote productions. Notably, Vívaro Media will deploy customer’s first ever services delivered in ST-2110, highlighting once more that no client request is beyond its technical capabilities. Vívaro Media’s extensive experience ensures flawless coordination between client production centers and facilities; With reliability as a top priority, all services are transported over carefully selected diverse fiber routes for seamless delivery, totaling more than 20 Gbps of bandwidth.
