KIRKLAND, Wash.: Kirkland-based IT managed service provider (MSP) FusionTek is pleased to announce its acquisition of Seattle-based IT company, dpe Systems.
This marks the second acquisition in just a year, signaling FusionTek's strategic efforts to identify and acquire companies that fill gaps in their offerings, enhancing their ability to deliver more comprehensive solutions to the businesses they serve. FusionTek, based out of the greater Seattle area, is a technology support and data protection services organization and in recent years has also established itself as a managed security service provider (MSSP) and a leader in incident response (IR) work. The dpe Systems acquisition specifically positions FusionTek to bring a fuller, more robust hardware, software, and subscription services to its clients.
dpe Systems was founded in 1970 as DP Enterprises. Since its founding, dpe Systems has specialized in hardware sales and maintenance, boasting authorization to sell and deploy most major hardware products. Over the years their clients have come to rely on their expertise regarding technology purchasing and planning, becoming a trusted advisor in that space.
FusionTek's services will provide dpe Systems’ clients with access to a broader range of solutions, including 24x7x365 managed IT support, deep cybersecurity tools and offerings, and a seasoned incident response team. Clients will also benefit from streamlined IT services, a deeper pool of technical expertise, and a security infrastructure designed to give them visibility into their technology strategy and enable their businesses to thrive.

— Kent McLeod, CEO of dpe Systems

"This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for our company as we continue to expand our footprint in the Seattle area and deepen our technology offerings. dpe Systems brings with them immense value as a reseller and service provider, boasting a distinguished list of clients, which we are excited to expand upon.
Although there are many reasons the acquisition of dpe Systems made sense, the company’s dedication to building strong relationships with their clients and their technical depth of knowledge around a variety of industry vendors, were some of the biggest. Through this acquisition we aim to strengthen our own service offerings and continue to provide a better technology experience to the businesses we support.”
