Welcomes Brian Blakley to Lead the New Professional Services Division
DOVER, N.H.: Compliance Scorecard™, a Compliance-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform designed by MSPs for MSPs, today announced the acquisition of PrivacyMSP, a specialized consulting firm focused on helping clients reduce risk and ensure compliance and governance to meet privacy regulations.
As part of the acquisition, PrivacyMSP founder Brian Blakley will join Compliance Scorecard as Chief Risk Officer. In this role, he will head the newly created Professional Services Division, providing customized service packages designed to guide MSPs through every step of their compliance journey. By incorporating Compliance as a Service (CaaS) solutions into their core cybersecurity offerings, MSPs can stay ahead of the curve while driving revenue growth.
New Professional Services Packages
The new professional services package includes three customized models.
The addition of PrivacyMSP and Brian's leadership strengthens Compliance Scorecard’s commitment to supporting MSPs in managing the complexities of compliance, risk management, and governance. With more than 25 years of experience in IT, information security, data privacy, and compliance, Brian will oversee a range of professional services aimed at helping MSPs implement, scale, and enhance their compliance programs through adaptable service models. Tim Golden, founder and CEO of Compliance Scorecard commented, “We are thrilled to welcome PrivacyMSP to the Compliance Scorecard family and bring Brian’s expertise to the forefront of our professional services division. This represents a significant step forward in empowering MSPs to build out their own Compliance as a Service offering. We know MSPs face increasing regulatory pressures, and our goal is to make compliance not just manageable, but a driver of business growth.”
Empowering MSPs with a Compliance-as-a-Service Platform
The acquisition of PrivacyMSP also enhances Compliance Scorecard’s ability to provide specialized services for privacy compliance and data protection. Combined with the platform’s existing features—such as policy management, compliance assessments, and customizable reporting, these new professional services offerings will help MSPs scale their compliance capabilities and meet the evolving demands of their clients.
MSPs will be able to leverage Compliance Scorecard’s professional services to deliver audit preparation, risk assessments, policy creation, and incident response services, all while ensuring they remain compliant with industry standards like HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, CMMC, SOC2, ISO and more.
“This flexible approach ensures that MSPs of all sizes can offer their clients comprehensive compliance services, whether they need hands-on support or just expert guidance,” added Brian Blakley. “We’re here to provide the level of service that makes sense for their business model, helping MSPs turn compliance into a competitive advantage.”
