Leaders in connected vehicle communication and safety join forces to deliver cutting-edge, real-time, cloud-based safety solutions while prioritizing data security and privacy for passenger and commercial vehicles worldwide

SAN RAMON, Calif. & CHICAGO: AiDEN Automotive, a leader in privacy-first connected vehicle technology, and HAAS Alert, the leader in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connected safety solutions, today announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of scalable connected safety services in passenger and commercial vehicles. Combining AiDEN Automotive’s expertise in vehicle connectivity and HAAS Alert’s pioneering Safety Cloud® platform, this collaboration aims to prevent vehicle collisions and save lives while upholding global standards in privacy-first user data.

AiDEN Automotive was founded to address a paradox in the automotive industry: while hundreds of millions of connected cars exist, the majority fail to deliver true connectivity and scalable services to users. The hardware is there, but barriers like privacy regulations and fragmented service ecosystems have hindered progress. AiDEN has tackled these challenges head-on by adopting a privacy-first approach, treating all data as personal and ensuring transparent, user-controlled data sharing that complies with GDPR and other global privacy laws. This builds trust and enables automakers to offer valuable connected services in alignment with best practices and standards in user data.

HAAS Alert launched in 2015 with a mission to make vehicles and roads safer and smarter. Its V2X platform Safety Cloud is connecting hundreds of thousands of roadway assets and incidents from more than 4,000 public safety agencies, roadside assistance associations and operators, transportation departments, and other roadside fleets across North America to tens of millions of drivers through select Jeep®, Dodge, Chrysler, RAM, and Volkswagen vehicles and leading mobile navigation apps like Waze. Mercedes-Benz also launched an Emergency Vehicle Alert beta feature powered by Safety Cloud last September.

Building on its 2023 European expansion, HAAS Alert is poised to address roadway safety challenges across global markets. Through this collaboration, AiDEN Automotive will integrate its advanced vehicle connectivity technologies with HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud, enabling seamless and secure communication between vehicles, infrastructure, and roadside assets. The collaboration will prioritize solutions that improve driver awareness in high-risk scenarios, such as work zones, emergency vehicle responses, and roadside assistance. Drivers will receive timely digital alerts via in-vehicle displays, allowing them to slow down, move over, and avoid collisions, all while ensuring robust data privacy protections.

“Partnering with HAAS Alert marks a pivotal step in our mission to redefine vehicle connectivity,” said Niclas Gyllenram, CEO of AiDEN Automotive. “By combining AiDEN’s connected vehicle expertise with HAAS Alert’s groundbreaking V2X technology, we’re delivering scalable solutions that make roads safer for all while safeguarding sensitive data. This partnership underscores our commitment to creating a more secure mobility ecosystem that also provides a better experience.”

“This partnership with AiDEN Automotive enables automakers to rapidly deploy HAAS Alert’s digital alerting safety solution in a way that prioritizes the privacy of user data,” said Cory Hohs, CEO of HAAS Alert. “Together, we’re driving innovation that will save lives, improve driver awareness, and set a new standard for vehicle and roadway safety, with a strong commitment to protecting user privacy.”

This partnership highlights the critical importance of cross-industry collaboration to create smarter, safer transportation ecosystems worldwide, while keeping user data secure.
