SALT LAKE CITY: Degreed, the global learning platform for workforce skill development, is excited to announce Erik Lossbroek as Chief Revenue Officer. After achieving profitability, releasing its AI coach – Degreed Maestro – into production, and securing 5 of Interbrand’s top 50 Best Global Brands as launch customers for its newly released Skills+ solution, Degreed has taken the steps to further strengthen its leadership team.
With a deep background in enterprise software, Lossbroek brings a customer-first mindset that will drive Degreed into its next phase of growth. Lossbroek joins Degreed after a 20-year career as a revenue leader at SAP, where he held roles in Europe, Africa, and the U.S, leading some of the most strategic sales teams and customer relationships for the enterprise software giant.
When asked, the new Chief Revenue Officer said, “I am thrilled to join Degreed at such an exciting time. There is no company better positioned to transform the world’s workforce, and having seen the impact of transformation first hand across industries, I know there is no more important time to bring Degreed to the world than today.”
Max Wessel, co-CEO of Degreed said, ”Last year, Degreed delivered game-changing product innovations. With the introduction of our AI assistant, Degreed Maestro, the acceleration of our automation capabilities, and the release of our leading AI-enabled skill management solution, we’ve changed how organizations can turn the talent they have into the talent they need. With Erik joining Degreed, we have added another world class leader to the Degreed team and prepared ourselves to take each of these innovations forward with our customers.”
The full executive team will be on-site at Degreed LENS in April, as the company unveils a wave of improvements in its core learning platform, its AI-powered skills management environment, and its AI coach, Degreed Maestro. Deborah Quazzo, managing partner of GSV Ventures and chair of ASU-GSV, had this to say of the most recent appointment: “Degreed transformed enterprise learning for a cloud world. We’re excited to have someone of Erik’s world-class caliber on board, and see the team doing the same as AI enables enterprises to finally put a mentor in the pocket of every employee.”
