New platform improves outcomes and quality scores through holistic and streamlined campaign management
SALT LAKE CITY: Cotiviti, a leader in data-driven healthcare solutions, has launched Engagement Hub to empower health plans to identify care gaps and gain a holistic view of members across quality measures, enabling them to deploy targeted outreach to improve member care and achieve performance benchmarks. This new solution brings together the quality measure logic and reporting of Cotiviti’s Best in KLAS® Quality Intelligence solution with the activation and outreach capabilities of the Eliza® member engagement engine to set the standard for efficiency, ease-of-use, and customer satisfaction.
"Numerous factors influence a health plan’s ability to successfully engage with their members, making it essential for them to have a streamlined process to achieve their objectives,” said Chad Kinkead, executive vice president of risk, quality, and consumer engagement for Cotiviti. “By optimizing member identification and outreach, reducing wasteful administrative costs, and tracking outreach to measure goals, Engagement Hub will help health plans improve their coordination and efficiency.”
Engagement Hub streamlines the entire member engagement lifecycle—from identifying actionable gaps for high-weight quality measures, to pinpointing optimal target lists, to managing outreach and measuring outcomes—through a single data feed and platform. Health plans can reach the right members at the optimal time while monitoring member education and engagement campaigns to drive gap closure. Partnering with a single vendor helps plans to manage HEDIS® measure outcomes while unlocking a comprehensive view of members, enabling seamless management of engagement campaigns.
The Engagement Hub platform includes several campaigns designed to educate members about preventive screenings for breast, cervical, and colon cancer; inform parents and guardians about annual checkups and immunizations for children; and remind members about screenings for diabetes and hypertension management. This enables health plans to supplement their existing member engagement programs to better align HEDIS reporting and member engagement workflows while reducing member abrasion.
“As members face challenges related to social determinants of health such as housing and food insecurity, plans frequently struggle to engage at-risk populations and close care gaps, limiting their ability to improve member health,” said Leah Dewey, vice president of consumer engagement at Cotiviti. “By launching Engagement Hub to connect Cotiviti’s leading quality improvement and member engagement solutions, Cotiviti is giving health plans the ability to focus resources on the populations that would benefit the most and have the highest propensity to engage.”
Cotiviti has supported health plans with Quality and Stars initiatives for more than 24 years, processing more than 147 million member lives through Quality Intelligence annually and delivering outreach to more than 50 million members through Eliza.
