Italian ALA goes shopping in Spain and acquires SCP Sintersa

The leading stocking distributor and supply chain solutions provider has offices in Italy, France, Germany, the UK, Israel and North America too.

ALA, the Italian leading stocking distributor and supply chain solutions provider to the Aerospace, Defense, Power Generation and Rail industries listed in Euronext Growth Milan has acquired SCP Sintersa, Spain’s leader in the distribution and manufacturing of electrical components and systems to the Aerospace, Defense, Rail and Industrial markets. The acquisition significantly expands ALA’s market reach by adding end-to-end high-performance interconnection solutions to the current ALA portfolio of products and supply chain integration services, says ALA management in a official statement.

SCP Sintersa was founded in 1985 by Jose Luis Garcia Bellido and Carlos Molinos Orderiz, it is headquartered in Madrid with state-of-the-art production facilities in Sevilla and commercial offices in Barcelona and Lisbon, Portugal. Eduardo, Jose-Manuel and Ana Garcia Magro, will remain with the business in their current management roles and will join the ALA global senior leadership team.
