Intellera Consulting offers professional services to administrations and companies and is now part of Accenture's strategic approach to Italian PAs
Accenture has agreed to acquire Intellera Consulting, an Italian consultancy firm operating in the public administration and healthcare sectors. The acquisition - Accenture says - aligns with Accenture’s ongoing focus on helping Italian public service organizations enhance and transform their citizen services. First consulting firm in the public sector in Italy by volume of business, Intellera Consulting offers professional services to administrations and companies, with a deep grounded experience about digital transition and complex transformation projects.
Intellera Consulting was born in 2021 from the management buyout of the PwC Italy Public Administration and Healthcare branch. The private equity fund Gyrus Capital took part in the operation, allowing the branch to expand its generated value. By leveraging its solid expertise and multidisciplinarity consolidated over more than 15 years, says Intellera Consulting, the company "continues to represent a strategic partner for the Italian PA" in the field of management and strategic consultancy.
Today, one of Intellera Consulting's main strengths is that it includes a multi-disciplinary team of more than 1,400 employees working to facilitate the use of EU funds across the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), "while transforming Italy’s public service organizations via more sustainable, agile and inclusive systems". The acquisition furthers Accenture’s growth strategy and focused investments in Italy, says the acquiring company.
“Intellera Consulting is widely recognized and respected for its exceptional strategic, advisory and technology services for public administration and is an excellent fit with Accenture,” said Mauro Macchi, chairman and chief executive officer of Accenture Italia. “As we continue to focus on serving modern, responsible, citizen-oriented government, integrating new talent and skills from Intellera will expand our capabilities to deliver innovation and transformation for our public service clients.”
"Helping our clients achieve their transformation goals and offering the best professional and personal development opportunities to our colleagues are the principles that have guided us from day one; joining the Accenture network means generating incredible synergies in creating value for our clients and multiplying growth opportunities for our people," said Andrea Gabardo, chief executive officer of Intellera Consulting.
