Bending Spoons acquires StreamYard

The Italian tech company has entered into an agreement to buy the US based live-streaming and video-recording business

Milan based technology company Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire StreamYard Top Corp (also known as Hopin), which owns and operates the products StreamYard, Streamable, and Superwave. With millions of users worldwide, StreamYard has powered the live-streaming and recording of more than 60 million videos to date.

Bending Spoons, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Milan, Italy is the first European developer of mobile apps with over half a billion users worldwide, and closed 2022 with more than 150 million Euros in revenue. At the end of 2022, Bending Spoons acquired Evernote, the renowned personal productivity app, boasting approximately $100 million in recurring revenue, millions of paying customers, and almost 11 billion notes created with its cross-platform apps.
