The study uses the IDC MarketScape model to assess fourteen leading European smart manufacturing service providers that support end-to-end smart manufacturing programmes and transformation initiatives.
"We are very proud that the IDC MarketScape positions us as a "Leader" for Smart Manufacturing in Europe. To meet the challenges of Industry 4.0, companies need to rely on smart IT solutions and take advantage of the opportunities presented by Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud and Edge Computing," explained Enrico Nebuloni, Executive Partner at Reply.

The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. IDC MarketScape provides a clear framework in which the product and service offerings, capabilities and strategies, and current and future market success factors of IT and telecommunications vendors can be meaningfully compared.
