Displaid, a Monitoring-as-a-Service startup that improves the management of infrastructure networks by identifying numerous types of damage in advance, has been selected to participate in Bravo Innovation Hub, the program of Invitalia and the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, designed to accelerate the growth of startups on the national territory that is taking place in Brindisi.
Bravo Innovation Hub offers the selected startups an "equity free" grant of 20k euros and a 12-week acceleration course managed by LVenture Group, The Qube Incubator and CETMA inside Palazzo Guerrieri in Brindisi, a symbol of encouragement to companies in the South towards innovation, development and entrepreneurship. At the end of the acceleration process, the Bravo Innovation Hub Demo Day will be held on Tuesday 28 November in Brindisi at Palazzo Guerrieri, to encourage the meeting of business opportunities, where Displaid will present its solution to an audience of investors.
Displaid has 4 years of experience and development by the team of engineers of the Politecnico di Milano, Francesco Morgan Bono, Giancarlo Donizzelli, Lorenzo Benedetti, Luca Radicioni, with over 10 TB Terabytes of data analyzed and over 20 academic research papers published. The startup offers the market a unique hardware with proprietary analysis algorithms enhanced by Artificial Intelligence, to predict damage on infrastructures, bridges and viaducts, easy to install and which provides the customer with real-time data, reducing maintenance costs by up to 70%. The service offered by Displaid supports prevention and the consequent decision-making process in the management of infrastructure networks and has already monitored 25 bridges and viaducts.
Thanks to the Bravo Innovation Hub program, the Displaid group is working to improve the product and has concluded the PoC - Proof of Concept - with Ferrovie Nord by installing the first monitoring system of 7 sensors in 3 hours. "Bravo Innovation Hub will allow us to face an acceleration path supported by international experts. We trust Bravo to build a network of excellence, so as to facilitate Displaid's access to the market" says Lorenzo Benedetti, CEO of Displaid.
Displaid was also one of the winner startups of the Startup Cup 2023, the XXI edition of the competition promoted by the Regione Lombardia. Displaid wins in the ICT & Services category and will receive a financial contribution of 25k euros to support their development and access to the National Award for Innovation.
